ABOUT
What is JEDI?
The Java Education & Development Initiative (JEDI) Project is an open source form of Java instruction that is driven by the community. The JEDI Project is a project of the University of the Philippines Java Research & Development Center (JRDC) with the aim of providing free and open source Computer Science and Information Technology (CS/IT) courseware for colleges and universities.
The project was launched at the Philippine Society of IT Educators Convention on February 25, 2005.
What We Offer
JEDI members immediately gain access to a whole suite of free resources to enhance teaching and learning experience.
The courseware includes teacher's and student's manuals, teaching slides, sample exams, exercises, machine problems, and reference materials. This courseware is provided in Open Document Format to make it easier for teachers to modify it as they see fit. We also provide them with software and other development tools, faculty training, online community, and events for faculty and students.
